Pionner in Brazil in the practice of technological innovation, where a group of near 100 professionals of diverse academic qualifications, some having master's degree and others having doctor's degree, all of them with specializatrions, internally develop such activities.
Besides these professionals, BIOLAB maintains partnerships with Brazilian and International Universities and Research Institutes.

Always, the purpose is to research, develop and innovate products, keeping the company in the vanguard of new and better medications to be offered to the Physicians and the population.
In the recent years, BIOLAB established two important partnerships with other national laboratories. The first, focused on discovering molecules of radical innovation at global level, founding a company exclusively for such purpose. Another very important partnership develops incremental innovations, as nanotechnology platforms and solubility agents, liposomes, new associations and new pharmaceutical forms.
The investment in this area already attained the acknowledgement of the public sector. In 2006, BIOLAB was honored with the ABDI Award, conferred by the Brazilian Agency of Industrial Development, in the category "Corporate". The judgment committee for this awarding was constituted by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Brazilian entities BNDES, FINEP, SEBRAE and CNI.
