"Being in HR is a way of giving back what work has given me over the years." The quote from Camila Clemes, director of people and management at the pharmaceutical company BiolabShe is passionate about the world of people. With more than 20 years' experience in the field, the executive fell into the sector by accident: she was studying literature and started working in corporate communications at a multinational. "The next thing I knew, I was covering a vacation for a benefits professional and it all started to make sense to me," she says.
Over the course of two decades, Camila has accumulated a wide range of experiences - from a pioneering diversity department at Mapfre in 2009, to leading HR in family-run companies such as construction company Libercon and IT company Cast Group. "It was very interesting to be able to look at all the processes at once," he recalls. "In this relationship, trust is the basis of everything. If you don't build that trust with the shareholder, with the owner, you have little room to work," she says, who doesn't see herself changing her profile. "I'm suspicious."
In the interview with CajuínaCamila tells us more about her career and the challenges she faces at Biolab, a company with around 4,000 employees spread across factories, logistics centers and administrative offices in São Paulo and Minas Gerais.
