Social Projects
Through the Solidarity Sport project, we introduce karate lessons to children and teenagers. As well as practicing sport, we provide guidance on caring for the body and mind, as well as essential values such as cooperation and citizenship. We seek not only to train athletes, but also conscious and resilient citizens, ready to face life's challenges with determination and ethics.
In 2024, Biolab, in partnership with Profarma Distribuição, supported an expedition by the NGO Doutores do Mundo (Doctors of the World) - an organization made up of volunteer doctors from various specialties who provide health care to communities in remote and vulnerable regions of Brazil. In this action, Biolab undertook to supply high-quality medicines to meet the needs of the population served by the NGO Amor e Esperança, located in Brejo de Beberibe, in Recife (PE).
Reinforcing its commitment to caring for life at all stages, Biolab is supporting the Support Group for Adolescents and Children with Cancer (GRAACC) through the Ronald McDonald Institute's McDia Feliz campaign. The company buys tickets for the campaign and presents its employees and dependents with a Big Mac, encouraging solidarity on the day of the action.
We believe that education and entrepreneurship are fundamental to social development. Through our collaboration with the SBA Girassol - German Benevolent Society project, we reinforce our commitment to this cause. This project offers vocational courses for young people in situations of social vulnerability. As well as preparing them for the job market, the courses also include an entrepreneurship module to encourage participants to explore opportunities and seek innovation.
Biolab is promoting Solidarity Christmas, an initiative that reinforces the company's commitment to solidarity and caring for the communities around its units.
Donation of Basic Food Baskets
Employees contribute a symbolic amount and nominate a family to benefit from a Christmas hamper for residents of the communities surrounding the plants.
Christmas gifts for institutions
Clothes, shoes, toys and hygiene items are collected from employees and transformed into Christmas kits for children and teenagers from nearby charitable institutions.
Biolab joins forces with Santa Casa every year to support the Scientific and Assistance Expeditions Program (PECA), a project that has been bringing medical care and hope to underprivileged communities since 2004. In 2025, the action took place in Socorro/SP, treating 633 patients with the help of 450 volunteers.
