Treatment of latent and moderate ferropenic syndromes; iron deficiency anemia due to malnutrition and/or dietary deficiencies; anemia of intestinal dysabsorptive syndromes; iron deficiency anemia of pregnancy and lactation; anemia due to acute or chronic bleeding and in conditions where iron supplementation is appropriate.
