BRIEF DESCRIPTION/INDICATION
Quetiapine hemifumarate is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as monotherapy or as an adjunct in the treatment of associated manic episodes
for bipolar affective disorder, for episodes of depression associated with bipolar affective disorder, in the maintenance treatment of bipolar I affective disorder (manic, mixed or depressive episodes) in combination with the mood stabilizers lithium or valproate, and as monotherapy in the maintenance treatment of bipolar affective disorder.
